Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first member of his family members to be born. Following his primary and secondary education, he went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where the university awarded him a BSc. in Architecture.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome AAU also gave him an honourary Doctor of Science Award. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

While still attending AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into the field of ministry. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship was then known as Youths For Christ (YFC).
YFC grew quickly and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the church's headquarters. Believer's LoveWorld now has millions of followers and associates all over the globe.

Children and their families are supported by the foundation's sustainable and participatory interventions. These include child care programmes, child development programmes and strengthening of families.
Trauma Care International Foundation
The Trauma Care International Foundation was established to enhance the standard of living and the general health of communities and nations by promoting better emergency response for accidents and emergencies. This foundation will help support national policies on trauma treatment by providing the advocacy process, health education, and community-based programs.
Over a thousand people were given first aid and safety instruction from the foundation. They have trained thousands of teachers, law enforcement officers and caregivers as well road transporters.
Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps, a religious outreach of the church, is dedicated to providing aid material as well as medical assistance and education to people who are internally displaced and refugees in regions that have been affected by natural and man-made disasters.
The outreach involves paramedics, students and christian doctors from every nation. The volunteers provide medical treatment, emergency relief and sustainable health solutions to communities and regions that are in need.
